Energy Communities Alliance, SC Governor join fight for Yucca Mountain

A day after Tri-Cities leaders announce plans to file a lawsuit against President Obama for scrapping the Yucca mountain Nuclear Storage site, others announce they're stepping forward to back them.
The Energy Communities Alliance wrote a letter to Energy Secretary Steven Chu asking what will happen to the waste scheduled to go to the Nevada site, including waste from Hanford.
South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, has also written a letter to other governors, asking for support to get the project back on track.
