Weekend Kennewick Fire
This morning fire investigators will return to a Kennewick home that went up flames over the weekend. The fire destroyed the jerseys for the Tri-City Fever arena football team, just days before it's season opener.
The blaze broke out early Saturday morning on Quincy Place. Paula Ward was able to climb out of the window to safety and was not injured. the house was completely destroyed.
The fire department thinks the fire was accidental, possibly caused by a space heater.
Ward does seamstress work for the Fever football team and for the Americans hockey team.
The Tri-City Fever opens it's season tonight in Southridge High School uniforms.
The Americans will wear its blue jerseys for the remainder of the season.
