Kennewick Police Make Assault Arrest
On 03-03-10, Kennewick Police officers responded to the 1100 block of N. Buchanan Street in Kennewick, after a resident called 911 and reported a disturbance. Officers responded to the area, but could not locate the victim or suspect. After interviewing witnesses, and later locating and interviewing the victim, officer learned that Lashawn Bethea had allegedly pointed a gun at Nathan Sherbahn, demanding money. Officers from multiple jurisdictions searched for Bethea, but were unable to locate him. On 03-10-10 Kennewick Officers observed Bethea driving a gold minivan in the area of Canal and Edison. Officers stopped and arrested Bethea for Assault 2nd Degree. Bethea was booked into Benton County jail on a 72-hour investigative hold.
