Yakima Foot Doctor's License Restricted
A Yakima foot doctor's license is restricted for allegedly allowing an assistant to provide procedures only a doctor should perform.
The state Department of Health says podiatrist Curtis Holden let his assistant illegally perform injections on a patient. Authorities say Holden didn't order tests on the patient, and allowed the injections to continue even though the shots didn't help the patient.
Under the restrictions, Holden won't be allowed to provide injections while charges are resolved. The doctor has 20 days to respond to the allegations.
