Rain doesn’t damper parade in Walla Walla
Rain didn’t keep hundreds of people from lining the streets of downtown Walla Walla Saturday night.
The 17th annual Macy’s Parade of Lights featured more than 60 entries including a reindeer led hot air balloon which surprised the crowd with a special demonstration.
The holiday themed floats decorated with Christmas lights made their way down several blocks along Alder and Main Streets.
The parade, which lasted about an hour, concluded with the arrival of Santa Claus who, of course, listened to the Christmas wishes of dozens of children.
