A former Southridge High School student is a finalist to win a $100,000 scholarship from Dr. Pepper.
Megan Hardy is a freshman at Washington State University in Pullman studying elementary education. She entered a video into Dr. Pepper's Tuition Giveaway contest, saying as a teacher she will change students' lives.
Megan is one of 10 finalists vying for five spots to attend a college football bowl game to throw a football to win the scholarship. The five finalists will be determined by the number of votes they get for their videos.
