Hermiston woman wins $2 million Powerball prize

A Hermiston woman is a millionaire, after scoring a big Powerball prize last month.

Donna Meade won $2 million during a Powerball drawing on November 3rd.

She waited three weeks to claim her prize in Salem because she wanted her friend who was on vacation, to go with her.

After taxes were taken out, Meade walked away with a check for $1.3 million.

She says most of that money is headed to the bank for savings.
