Tri-Cities PFD moving forward with new location for aquatic center

Community leaders in the Tri-Cities are moving forward with plans to put a proposed aquatic center in Pasco.
Tonight, members of the Tri-Cities Regional Public Facilities District agreed that 28 acres of land off Sandifur Parkway near Road 100 is a good location for the water park.
PFD members will now spend the next few weeks going over the campaign details for the project.
They hope to have a proposal ready for voters at the end of their meeting next month.
