Superintendent on Paid Leave

The superintendent of the Richland School District is on paid leave while an investigator looks into allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with a school district staff member.
School board president Rick Jansens says Jim Busey was put on leave Monday afternoon, and the board is using due diligence to bring the matter to a close.
The board has hired an independent investigator to look into the allegations. Busey has worked for the school district for three years.
