Oregon State Police Arrest Truck Driver for Hit and Run

Oregon State Police arrest a commercial truck driver following a Friday hit and run in which a pedestrian was seriously injured.
52 year old Billy Joe Leggett was a passenger in a vehicle that became disabled on the shoulder of Interstate 84 near the Dalles. OSP says Leggett got out of the vehicle, and was struck by a semi truck, that continued driving.
Leggett was transported to a local hospital.
Police caught up with the driver, 42 year old Viktor Akhrimovich from Auburn, and arrested him for felony hit and run.
