Prosecutor argues to introduce new evidence in Stuart murder case
The Franklin County Prosecutor wants a superior court judge to allow additional evidence in a murder case set for trial in two months.
Shawn Sant argued to introduce new evidence in Tashia Stuart's upcoming trial.
Stuart is charged with murder in the shooting death of her adoptive mother, Judy Hebert, last year.
Sant wants to introduce statements Hebert made to neighbors about her relationship with Stuart before her death.
Stuart's attorneys say they won't be ready to go to trial in two months due to delays in getting interviews and reports related to the case.
However, Stuart's trial is still scheduled to begin February 11th.
