Three Die from Flu
The state health department is urging people to get a flu shot, after three deaths from influenza in Washington this month.
A Pierce county boy and two elderly adults in King county died from the flu in December. The state health department says the flu is picking up across the state and is urging everyone from six-months old on up to have an annual flu shot.
An average of two children and 25 adults die of the flu each year in Washington state.
