Twenty-nine people remain in the hospital after yesterday's deadly bus crash east of Pendleton, Oregon.

Nine people died when the bus operated by Mi Joo Tour & Travel out of British Columbia slid off the highway on a dangerous portion of Interstate 84.

This afternoon, Oregon State Police say 49 people between the ages of seven and 74 were on the bus traveling from Las Vegas to Vancouver, B.C. when the accident took place.

The bus was traveling westbound in the passing lane when it hit the center barrier and then crossed back over the two westbound lanes before crashing into a ravine.

Troopers say all of the deceased appear to be adults, but have not released names of the victims yet.

The bus was carrying passengers from the United States, Canada, Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

The Oregon State Police says it may take up to four weeks to complete the investigation.
