Todd Stuart makes first court appearance in Franklin Co.
The husband of a Pasco woman charged with murdering her adoptive mother last year makes his first appearance in Franklin County court today, after being charged in the same case.
Todd Stuart, who is married to Tashia Stuart, is charged with first degree attempted murder.
Today, a judge set Stuart's bail at $500,000.
Tashia Stuart is charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Judy Hebert last March.
U.S. Marshals arrested Todd Stuart on the deck of the U.S.S. Hornet in San Francisco last month.
Stuart was living and working on the boat, which is a public museum.
Attorneys may try the two cases together.
"We're still in discussions. Obviously, that's gonna be a concern with defense council on how the trial of both cases, whether or not they'll be joined or separate trials. But that's something that's gonna have to be determined at a later date" said Shawn Sant, Franklin County Prosecutor.
Tashia Stuart's trial is scheduled to start April 11th.
Todd Stuart will be back in court on February 28th.
