Closed Wendy's Didn't Meet Standards
A fourth Wendy's restaurant has closed in our region -- the latest location to shut down is in Walla Walla.
In the past week one Wendy's in Kennewick and two in Yakima also closed.
Today a spokesperson from the Wendy's headquarters in Ohio emailed us saying all four restaurants are owned by the same franchisee.
They were closed because they failed to meet Wendy's operational standard.
The corporate office will evaluate if the stores will reopen.
