Hispanic Academic Achievers Program (HAAP) awards $92,500 in scholarships today
More than $92,000 in scholarships were handed out tonight at the TRAC in Pasco.
Tonight's Hispanic Academic Achievers Program (HAAP) awarded 28 scholarships to high school seniors in the Tri-City area, the largest being $12,000.
Tonight's ceremony also recognized more than 3,700 Hispanic students from six area school districts for maintaining a 3.0 grade point average (GPA).
