Kennewick Man Accidently Shoots Friend

Date and Time of Incident- November 2nd, 2012 @ 10:33pm
Reporting Person Name- Greg Sheibe age 22
Summary of Incident- Sheibe, 22 years of age, called 911 to report he accidentally shot his 16 YOA friend. The investigation indicated that there was a game of flashlight tag taking place in his residence, and during such play, Sheibe had pulled out a gun from his holster and accidentally shot the 16 YOA friend. Injury to the juvenile was non-life threatening and the juvenile received medical attention for the injury. CAT detectives assisted patrol officers and a semi-automatic handgun was recovered at the scene. The case has been forwarded to the Benton County Prosecutor's Office to determine if any criminal charges should be filed.
