Kittitas School District on lockdown
The Kittitas School District's elementary and high school campuses are currently on lock down.
District officials tell us a high student was injured in a shooting around 10:30 a.m. off campus and then came to school. The student's injury is not considered to be life threatening. The Washington State Patrol says the student is in stable condition at a local hospital.
There is a strong police presence as the search for the suspect is underway.
District officials tell us all the students are safe and that today is a half day.
Students are being released to their parents this afternoon and will be bused home.
