A 15-year old Wapato boy-- shot in the head in a gang-related ambush -- is out of the hospital tonight.

Police say the teen was released from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after spending a week recovering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Officers say the boy was in a car near the corner of Harding Avenue and North Track Road last Tuesday morning when he was shot.

Police sent us surveillance footage and pictures of several suspects prior to the ambush -- and are asking the public to help identify them.

"They laid in wait, waiting in fact for the victims to drive by, and then in effect, ambushed the vehicle, firing multiple rounds prior to the vehicle leaving the scene," said Wapato Police Chief Tracy Rosenow, "So they are very dangerous, and we would like the public's assistance in locating them."

Police believe there were 4 suspects involved in the shooting.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is urged to contact the Wapato Police Department.
