Stuart murder trial pushed back to February
The murder trial of a Pasco woman accused of killing her adoptive mother last year is pushed back to next year.
Tashia Stuart's trial was scheduled to start this month, but defense attorneys asked the judge to delay the trial until February.
Stuart's attorneys say they need more time to review evidence in the case, such as toxicology reports and blood spatter patterns.
Stuart is accused of killing Judy Hebert in her Pasco home in March 2011.
Last week, Tashia Stuart's husband, Todd Stuart was acquitted of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder in Hebert's death.
Stuart will return to court in two weeks for another hearing.
