2nd Street Park Will Reopen
A park in Yakima will remain open to the public, after it's owner decides not to fence it off.
City crews will spend the next week returning the second street park back to it's original state, after the land owner, Terry Powell asked the city to remove their property a week ago.
Powell reached an agreement with the city to keep the land open to the public, as long as the city insures any accidents that happen on the site.
The cost to replace the materials that were removed will be about $5,000.
