Task force to discuss potential Performing Arts Center

A Tri-Cities task force is hoping to move forward with the creation of a regional Performing Arts Center with help from the Tri-Cities Regional Public Facilities District.
Tonight, members of the Performing Arts Center Task Force will make a presentation to the district to show how the much-discussed facility could become reality.
According to the task force, more than one-third of Tri-Cities residents are very supportive of the proposed center.
The regional PFD has the authority to put a proposal to build a performing arts center on the ballot.
