Interstate 90 east of Snoqualmie Pass
If you're traveling over Snoqualmie Pass next week expect delays.
Starting Sunday, there will be one lane in each direction closed all week, so the pavement between the old and new sections of highway can be blended and smoothed.
But soon, the years of slowdowns and closures on I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass will pay off. There are now new and wider westbound lanes over the pass, and more room for trucks to pull over and chain up this winter.
