State Funds To Pay For Delta High School
The Kennewick School Board agrees to use extra money left over from school renovations to help pay for Delta High School.
The district currently has an excess of 20 million dollars in state funds and wants to use one to two million to help with the new Delta High School facility.
Using surplus state money for other projects is allowed according to a bond passed by voters.
The board will vote in two weeks to approve the new resolution to allocate the money to Delta High School.
