UPDATE: Evacuation lifted following bomb threat at College Place Walmart
UPDATE: Employees and customers have been allowed back into the College Place Walmart. Police and fire crews cleared the scene around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
At about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the store located on the 1700 block of SE Meadowbrook Boulevard was evacuated due to an apparent bomb threat. A store employee tells us the threat was phoned in.
Several blocks in the area were closed off.
No further details have been released.
