One Dead, One Injured After Crash in Yakima County
One person is dead, and another is injured following a car crash on South Wapato Road in Yakima County yesterday.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 33-year-old Sidney Hunt veered off the road, struck a power pole, and was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, 28-year-ld Rochelle Barney was transported by air ambulance to Toppenish Hospital.
The WSP says Barney was wearing here seat belt, and hunt was not.
The investigation continues.
