Man Shoots Wife, Then Kills Self According to Yakima Deputies
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office says a child called 911 to report her father had shot her mother before taking his own life.
It happened just after 6 p-m on the 3,000 block of grandview pavement road between Grandview and Mabton.
Investigators say 32-year-old Jose Angel Lepe-Garcia, and 36-year-old Margarita Lepe, had been estranged for some time.
The shooting happened when Lepe arrived at Garcia's home to pick up the children.
Garcia shot Lepe, called a relative to take the children then shot himself.
Lepe was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition
