Commercial Burglaries Up This Year in Kennewick

This increase includes seven coffee shops, three physicians’ offices, two restaurants’, insurance offices and dental offices as well as a tavern, convenience store, auto service store and a quick cash store.

Police say there appears to be some similarities in about 21 of these burglaries and are similar to commercial burglaries in Pasco.  In all but 2 of the burglaries, the method of entry was glass breakage.  No suspects have been indentified as of this time.

In most instances the suspects have taken cash left in the business overnight.

Burglaries in Kennewick are clustered in several locations including Columbia Center Blvd, Clearwater Ave, Columbia Drive and 1st Ave in East Kennewick.
