Car Crashes into Kennewick Golf Course

A 39-year-old Kennewick man had to be cut out of his car this morning after drifting off the road and crashing into a golf course.

It happened about 10 o'clock this morning as the driver was traveling westbound on Highway 240 in Kennewick.

Troopers say the man drifted off the roadway, crashed through a fence and hit a treet at Columbia Park Golf Course.

It took firefighters about a half hour to remove him from the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and firefighters say the driver's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
