Cops dealing Doritos at post-legalization Hempfest

Think you're going to get the munchies while at Seattle's Hempfest this weekend?  Perhaps seek out a Seattle Police officer.

SPD officers are going to be at the annual festival, but instead of cracking down on pot smokers, they'll be handing out 1,000 bags of Doritos.

Sgt. Sean Whitcomb says it's not just an effort to satisfy the munchies.  The department has affixed the bags with labels urging people to check out a question-and-answer post on its website about Washington's law to legalize marijuana use by adults over 21.

As many as 85,000 people per day are expected for the three-day festival.  Organizers says the event is calling for reforms of federal marijuana laws.
