Silent Auction for Cassidy
Dozens of people are showing up at a silent auction held for the 17-year-old Kennewick girl who fell 50 feet from a swing at church camp last month that left her paralyzed from the waist down.
Angie Goodenow and her daughter Madison Goodenow decided to hold a silent auction for Cassidy Almquist.
Madison is one of Cassidy's best friends and she said she wanted to do what she could to help Cassidy's recovery.
Friends, church peers and dozens of members of the community showed up to the event that took place at the former Pacific Catarc Laser Institutue on Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick.
There are plenty of goodies for people to bid on like a BBQ grill, a brand new bike and even some name brand accessories like a Juicy Couture handbag.
All the auction items were donated and all the proceeds go to Cassidy,
