Drivers can use alternate routes through the detour.

Motorcyclists are encouraged to use extreme caution or use an alternate route as the roadway throughout the project will have rough surfaces.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews are repaving all lanes of I-82 between Selah and Union Gap.

In addition, crews are repaving Yakima Avenue and the ramps at the Yakima Avenue / I-82 Interchange. This project is scheduled to be complete mid-September.
