Yakima School Board Approves Budget for 2013-2014 School Year

The Yakima School Boad approves it's budget for the upcoming school year.

The board adopted the budget earlier this week, which totals about $178 million.

The district will have to dip into some reserves to make up for that projection, due to enrollment growth, and other expenditures.

No programs or staff will be cut to make up for the budget.

Costs to renovate Davis High School, Zaepfel Stadium, and construct the New Eisenhower High School are not part of the budget.
