Pasco Murder Suspect Pleads Not Guilty, Opts for Bench Trial
A Pasco man pleads not guilty to murdering his roommate.
Joseph Hart is charged with 2nd degree murder, he is accused of stabbing 53-year-old Rodger Lincoln to death in March 2012.
Hart waives his right to a trial in front of a jury and opted for a bench trial.
The prosecution is waiting on toxicology reports to determine if Hart was on the proper dosage of prescription drugs and to see if there were any illicit drugs in his system at the time of the killing.
The defense says it will plead insanity to all charges.
Trial is scheduled to begin January 6th.
