2 Wrecks Last Night Due to Icy Conditions

Speed and icy roads contributed to two seperate injury craches yesterday.

Shortly before 8PM, a semi triuck on State Route 730 at State Route 12 lost control on the roadway, jackknifed, struck a post, and came to a rest on the shoulder.  The driver, 47 year old Louis Pribble of Hermiston was injured and was taken to Kadlec Hospital.  The WSP say charges are pending.

And on Interstate 82 in Pasco, a speeding driver lost control of her Dodge Durango and rolled into the median.  That happened just after 8PM.  Both the driver and her passenger were injured.  The driver was charged with speed too fast for the conditions.
