Two more suspects are in custody in connection with a double homicide in the Yakima Canyon back in December.

Marco Gallegos and Heriberto Villa appeared in Yakima County Court this afternoon after Yakima police arrested them over the weekend.

That brings the suspect count to four.

Police arrested Troy Whalen and Jose Pineda last week in connection to the murders of Ryan Pederson and Michael Eby -- Pederson and Eby were found shot to death in a car in the Yakima Canyon.

Police say pineda told investigators gallegos is the one who shot and killed eby, while villa is the one who killed pederson.

"The information we have is there is some connection with drugs or money," said Captain Rod Light, "Who owed who how much money or how much drugs is yet to be determined, but it had something to with somebody owing somebody money and/or drugs."

Both men each face 2 charges of first degree murder and kidnapping -- both of their bails are set at 2 million dollars.
