Two Yakima families escape a duplex fire this weekend.
Firefighters were called out to the 500 block of E Walnut Street around 2AM Saturday morning to find the rear portion of the building in flames.
There were no smoke detectors in the residence and firefighters had to remove a young mother and her three children from one unit, and a family of four from the other. Firefighters say the blaze was suspicious.
No injuries were reported and the families were not displaced
