Subjects from patrol procedures and traffic enforcement to crime scene investigations and crime analysis will be introduced and taught by the actual officers who conduct these activities “in the field.”
Citizens will also be able to participate in tours of the Benton County Jail, the Justice Center and the Coroner’s Office.
Applications will be available on the Benton County website, can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office in Kennewick, or through email by sending a request to Detective Sergeant Dan McCary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Completed applications must be received by March 15, 2013.
Class size will be limited to thirty attendees and will begin on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 6PM. Unless otherwise scheduled, all classes will be held at the Benton County Health Department located at 7102 West Okanogan Place, in Kennewick, WA.
