Polar Plunge This Weekend
Yakima Polar Plunge 2012
The Yakima Police Department is asking people to take a dive into freezing waters to benefit Special Olympics athletes.
It's part of the annual Yakima Polar Plunge -- organized by the police department.
Money raised from the event will be donated to the Special Olympics of Washington.
Last year, the event raised about $18,000.
