Sandy Hook Cranes

A paper crane mobile made by students at Pioneer Middle School in Walla Walla is now on display at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

The Walla Walla Public School District was recently notified that the mobile has been hung in the school to remind students and staff that the people of Walla Walla are thinking of them.

According to Japanese legend, if you make a thousand origami cranes and make a wish, your wish will be granted.

Pioneer students and staff made a wish that a tragedy like the one in Newtown, would never happen again.
