National Girl Scout Cookie Day
Did you know today is National Girl Scout Cookie Day?
For nearly 100 years, Girl Scouts have participated in the annual cookie sale. And today some local girls went door to door to kick off this year's campaign
Eleven-year-old Raychelle Ross of Finley was out in the neighborhood today, pre-selling six types of cookies: Thin mints, Savannah Smiles, Trefoils, Samoas, Tagalongs and Do-Si-Dos.
The cookies will arrive on your doorstep March 22.
The $790 million country-wide cookie program focuses on teaching girls five lessons... goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics and people skills.
