Update- Kennewick School District approves Road 100 site for New Delta High School in meeting last night.

Original Story- The Kennewick and Richland school boards are expected to vote tonight (Wednesday) on whether to build the new Delta High School in Pasco.

School adminstrators say the current school is too old and too small for the growing student body.

Last night the Pasco school board approved a site on Road 100 for the stem school.  The current science, technology, engineering and math school is on land owned by Columbia Basin College in Richland.

As soon as a new location is determined, the STEM Foundation can apply for state funding to build the school.
