Weaving studio opens in downtown Kennewick

A Richland woman opens a brand new weaving studio in downtown Kennewick today.
Susan Schmieman opened Flying Fibers this morning on South Benton Street.
The studio has nearly a dozen looms to make cloth.
Schmieman says she sells looms, weaving supplies, and hand-woven items.
She will also teach weaving classes.
Schmieman says she's opening the shop so more people understand how cloth is made.
