Powell Sentenced to Nearly 29 Years

A Yakima county man convicted of killing his girlfriend in Tieton in 2010 was sentenced to nearly 29 years in prison today.
A jury found Adam Powell guilty of second degree murder in the shooting death of his live-in girlfriend, Sabrina Flores.
According to the Yakima County prosecutor the sentence for Powell is in the top range because of Powell's psycological and physical abuse of Flores during their relationship.
