A truck carrying jet fuel crashes yesterday near the Oregon border and is later struck by a train.

Oregon State Police say the truck drifted off Highway 730, went down an embankment, and came to rest on railroad tracks.

The driver from Texas was able to get out of the truck and was later transported to a Hermiston Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

A train later collided with the overturned truck.

The busy highway was closed for about 8 hours while crews cleaned up the mess.
