Defense attorneys in Pasco murder case plan to file appeal with state
Defense attorneys representing a Pasco woman accused of murder plan to file an appeal with the state that could put her trial on hold.
Tashia Stuart is accused of killing her adoptive mother Judy Hebert, in Pasco nearly two years ago.
Today, a judge re-affirmed his decision that statements Hebert said before her death are admissible during trial.
Stuart's attorneys say they plan to appeal that decision with the Washington state Court of Appeals in Spokane.
If the appeals court agrees to hear the case, the trial could be put on hold.
Stuart's trial is scheduled to start in April.
