The Humane Society of Central Washington needs your help in finding a stolen puppy.

Volunteers say 2-month old Shih-Tzu mix, Mimi, went missing last week -- they believe someone who was looking at puppies may have slipped mimi under their coat and walked out.

The shelter says the situation is extremely unusual, but hope Mimi has at least found a good home.

"You know our number one concern is always about the pets, and that they find great homes," said Outreach Coordinator Erica Seaver-Engel, "So our hope is now that we'll see her and she's healthy, and she's happy and such."

Typically, a puppy would cost about a hundred dollars to adopt -- that would help pay for all the shots and pet care they have received.
