A man formerly accused of triple murder makes a brief appearance in court today.

Kevin Harper's pre-sentencing hearing was pushed back to April -- Harper's attorney says Yakima County Prosecutors want to use him as a witness in the murder case of Tracy Culton.

In October, prosecutors dropped charges against Harper for the murders of Bill and Pauline Goggin, and Bill's mother Bettye in February of 2011.

Instead, Harper pleaded guilty to a weapons charge and a stolen property charge.

Culton is now a prime suspect in the Goggins muder -- her trial is set to begin in March.
