Gas Prices Dropping
Gas prices hover around three dollars per gallon for the first time in a long time -- even dropping to a two year low in some areas.
According to GasBuddy.Com, many gas stations around the Tri-Cities are selling gas for $3.01 per gallon.
And in Yakima, a gallon of gas has dipped under three dollars per gallon at many stations-- going for $2.99 or even $2.97.
Drivers hope the prices stay that way for a long time.
"It's funny, they've got us trained," said Russell Roberts, "$2.99, we think it's a good deal or whatever, but it's a lot better than $4.50, and hopefully it stays down for quite a while."
"I'm happy they're finally coming down, I'm just waiting for it to jump right back up, because they always do," Danny Ferguson.
The average price per gallon in the state of Washington is $3.32
