SWAT team joins search for wanted felon in College Place
A SWAT team assists the College Place Police Department tonight in the search for a man wanted on a felony warrant.
Police say they received information the man, whose identity has not been released by police, was at a residence located near SE 3rd and SE Birch Streets.
A SWAT team was called in and after several hours, entered the house.
After an intense search by SWAT team members, the suspect was not located.
Investigators found a large vent opening in the back of the residence they believe the suspect may have used to escape.
